On Valentine’s Day 1982, a young woman’s body was discovered in Williams, Arizona. Police were unable to identify her and she was referred to as “Valentine Sally” for years while her murder was investigated. Several dead ends, and one misidentification later, she finally was identified as 17 year old Carolyn Celeste Eaton nearly 40 years after her death. ________________________________________________________________________

In France during the second world war, Dr. Marcel Petiot committed atrocious and antisemitic crimes in Paris during the 1930s and 40s. He committed many crimes throughout his life from petty theft to murder. After a house fire, authorities discovered 26 dismembered bodies in various states of decomposition in his Paris home. He tried to claim he was part of a French Resistance group killing Nazis and sympathizers, but he was actually praying on Jewish refugees and killing them with cyanide. It is suspected he has upwards of 60 victims.
