Last month, a seemingly routine scam took an unforeseen turn when an Uber driver, Loletha Hall, arrived at the Ohio home of 81-year-old William Brock. Instead of a typical encounter, Hall found herself facing Brock's .22 caliber revolver at the doorstep.

In July of 2022, Nicolae Miu (Nic) was tubing down the Apple River in Wisconsin with several of his friends. When one of them accidentally dropped their cellphone in the river, Nic went to retrieve it with his scuba gear. Shortly thereafter, a confrontation ensued with another group floating down the river, and one teenage boy wound up dead.

Minnesota resident, Henry McCabe gained national attention after his mysterious disappearance and subsequent death in 2015. Authorities and volunteers initiated a widespread search but his body wasn't found until 2 months later, when a kayaker discovered him in a local lake.
Henry's death was listed as a drowning but the circumstances surrounding his disappearance remained shrouded in mystery. Particularly due to a mysterious voicemail Henry left on his wife's cell phone as he lay dying.
